Error Display
This page shows the errors that were found using the metsverifier.
Again, the top of the screen presents a summary of the years on the disk and details about the batch.
The table below presents all the errors. The different columns are as follows:
- severity - There are four kinds of errors: blocking, major, minor and informational, ranked by their importance.
In general, it has been tried to classify errors as blocking when something structual is wrong and hence the data cannot be used with conforming systems.
The informational messages are just there for future reference and don't necessarily have to be acted upon.
- Error category - What type of error has been found
- Count - The number of times this error has been found
- nb. issues affected - The number of METS files that are affected by this error
- Percentage - the percentage of the total METS files that are affected
- Details on sheet - Where more details can be found about this error
Finally, the data can also be exported to an OpenOffice.org Calc spreadsheet by using the button "Export Data"
